Tender and bid support

Tenders written to win, not just to comply.

We write tender responses, capability statements and pre-qualification submissions that answer exactly what evaluators score: value for money, governance, risk and capability.

The approach

Most tenders are lost on the basics.

Missed mandatory requirements, generic answers and no evidence behind the claims. That's how good businesses lose to weaker competitors. We start with the evaluation criteria and build every response around what the buyer is actually scoring.

  1. Bid/no-bid review
  2. Compliance matrix
  3. Response plan
  4. Writing
  5. Review
  6. Submission
Client results

Results our clients can point to.

A civil contractor we supported won its first government tender within three months.

“Optimax Consultancy helped us achieve ISO 9001/45001/14001 certification faster than expected, and then helped us to get on the NSW Government pre-qualification panel (SCM0256 – General Construction Works).”

Questions

The practical details.

Do you write the whole tender or just review it?

Either. Most clients have us prepare the full response, but we also review and strengthen drafts your team has written.

How much notice do you need?

Ideally two weeks or more before the closing date. We can often help with shorter deadlines, so contact us as soon as you see the tender.

Do you guarantee we'll win?

No one can guarantee a tender result; the buyer makes that decision. What we guarantee is a compliant, well-evidenced response written to the evaluation criteria.

What if we don't have ISO certification?

Many government and Tier 1 tenders ask for it. We can advise whether to bid now and help you get certified for the next round.

What's the difference between a one-off tender and the retainer?

One-off suits occasional bids. The retainer suits businesses bidding regularly, and includes a maintained bid library, so each response gets faster and stronger.
